Ingredients

2 c chickpeas (garbanzo beans) rinsed and drained

¼ c tahini (sesame paste)

¼ c water

1/6 c olive oil

2 garlic cloves, minied

3 T lemon juice (~ 2-3 fresh lemons)

¾ t salt

1 T cumin

   

Directions:

Place all ingredients into a food processor or blender and process until very smooth.  Refrigerate in an air-tight container for 7-10 days.
