My girls want Pumpkin Spice Lattes and I got some calorie friendly drinks for you! Why pay a bunch of money to Starbucks for their Pumpkin Spice Latte when you can make your own and a HEALTHY one at that?
Pumpkin and pumpkin seeds are so good for you. It’s low calorie, easy to mix into oatmeal, muffins, and soups, and the seeds are a great snack because they are loaded with protein and healthy fat. I like to make a smoothie and then stir in some salty seeds to make an ice cream like treat with salty and sweet consistency. It’s the BOMB mixed up in Chocolate Shakeology!
Let’s see this Pumpkin Spice Latte!
How To Make A Healthy Pumpkin Spice Latte
- 1 cup of coffee
- 2 tbsp of canned pumpkin
- 1 cup of vanilla unsweetened 40 calorie almond milk
- Couple shakes of Cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, and ginger (or use Pumpkin Pie Spice)
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- Sweetner to taste (I use Truvia)
Pour about 1/3 of your cup of coffee into the cup (or blender) with other ingredients. Use your blender and mix ingredients or use a fork to mix. While blending or stirring with a fork, add your almond milk to taste. Pour mixed ingredients into a mug and add the rest of your coffee. Viola! Pumpkin Spice Latte!

Another favorite after dinner drink I enjoy is Chocolate Coffee. It’s lower in calories than the Pumpkin Spice Latte so on days I just need a sweet tooth fix I grab this!
Take one packet of Diet Hot Chocolate (Swiss Miss 25 calories per serving). Brew a cup of flavored coffee of choice. I happen to love Macadamia Nut from Gloria Jeans K-Cup line. I pour the hot chocolate in the cup then brew my coffee over the top. Typically I use a HUGE cup and run it twice. It’s delicious and if you like it extra sweet you can put a little sweetner of choice in their, too.
