I get so many requests to talk about loose skin.
I’ve had multiple surgeries that started after about two years into maintenance.
What I’ve had done:
- Two boob jobs with a lift the first time.
- Two full body lifts.
- Full tummy tuck.
- Eye lid surgery – yes even my damn eye had loose skin jacking my vision when my sinuses acted up!
I decided it’s time to get real about it here on the podcast.
Losing a lot of weight will undoubtedly result in some loose skin. I have some even after all that!
I’ve taken care of some of it with surgery and I’ve left some behind.
But the most important thing I’ve done is work on accepting my body instead of kicking myself in the ass for being overweight most of my life.
In Ep. 63 I share my journeys with loose skin, the physical journey and the emotional one.

I just found your podcasts on Facebook. This is an awesome tool! I have lost 130 pounds in a year. Losing weight is so hard, and I will never go back to the old me. So far I have been blest of not having hanging skin. My face has more wrinkles but I put anti wrinkle cream on.
Loved this one even though I didn’t have too much loose skin when i lost weight 6 years ago(I hope my skin bounce back this time!) I always have had issues with thinking people are looking at me in shorts or a bathing suit or working out. I definitely suffer from spotlight syndrome. And, like you, I have always hated my legs!! I am a fellow big calf girl!! Could never wear tall boots even at a size 6 :). But new mantra is “I have legs, they work, I can get up and move. They get me where I need to go. End of story! My dad died of ALS so working legs is definitely a thing to celebrate. Thanks again for all you do with free stuff and look for me in the September Newbie Tribe!!
