I’m coming to you from Atlanta where I’m attending Jen Hendershott’s Phat Camp. It is so great and we’ve only had the first half day. This is a weekend of fitness training with the 2005 Ms. Olympia. She is so energetic, inspiring, and and FIT! My God, the things she can do and the quickness. I’d love to be able to tell you all that I’m learning, but it would be a disservice to her and her efforts. I hope to be as creative and motivating to my own clients.
I can tell you a little about what we did. We did an awesome chest workout that killed me, some great ab techniques, and then we did a front-ward and backward treadmill walking routine. It was all challenging and tomorrow is a full day of cardio, body parts, and sampling food and such.
The last two days I have no workouts to report. My son has the flu and I stayed home with him. His grandparents came in and are watching him while I’m here. He’s doing good and luckily for me he has a healthy immune system that fights off stuff pretty easy. I also didn’t track my diet like I should, but it was all healthy. I didn’t eat junk. Maybe I had an extra snack, but that was about it. That is the blessing of not having junk in your house so you aren’t tempted.
Well, better get to bed. I’ll post tomorrow and talk more about concepts we learn.
