I’m working with over 800 women who took advantage of a free week with me.
Each one got a plan, daily Live training to ask questions, and an opportunity to learn.
Some ended the week thinking, “I missed some stuff. But I learned a lot!”
Some ended the week thinking, “I missed some stuff. I knew I would fail again.”
Interesting how some of of us are wired to assume WE must be broken or somehow wrong.
All that happened last week is a plan was sent, a group was together, there were posts, and I taught lives each day.
I ended the week choosing to think, “You truly gave them your all.”
But I wanted to think, “You should have done better.”
I could have, too. What good would that do me?
Nothing. There’s no upside to shaming yourself. There is upside to challenging yourself because you know you are not broken. There’s upside to setting aside the fear that you failed for the opportunity to assess how you can change.
I’m all about self-improvement. Asking for feedback. Making changes and seeking to do better.
But none of that happens when you don’t think you are good enough. When you fear failure more than you want success.
I challenge you to do something I’ve been practicing. Each time you tell yourself how you failed, give yourself at least one thing that was right about it. What can it teach you? Was their any success in it?
It will be a CHALLENGE if you are hell bent on feeling bad. But do it anyway. It’s worth it.
You are worth it.
